RK On an MMO adventure

With things being as slow as they are for the moment, i propose a small adventure in to LOTRO (http://www.lotro-europe.com) world. Tho with a twist: to make it more challenging, a Dwarf Only Kinship (guild).

Regarding gameplay/teamplay mechanics it does raise some challenges (With Burglar, Captain, Loremaster and the latest Warden being removed) but there are subsiding classes like Guardian instead of Burglar and so on for teamplay functions.

I can change our old in game Kinship name to Ravenous Stunties or something apparently so we would still have a guild from 2007 on Snowbourne server and then see where it would take us :)

I also should point out, we have 3 persons who returned to AOC (http://www.ageofconan.com): Asmoderius, Thakar and Neddal for a slight adventure, so if you want to have a go at that, look them up on the forums here :P (I Do not know if they made a guild called Ravenous Knights, as the server Ymir does not exist anymore)

Tried LOTRO in beta only, would really like to join, but:
are there any trial programs so i can start right away? It's impossible to buy euro-LOTR here, so will have to order it from some e-shop and that will take some time.

Why make a bunch of dwarves and go PvE in LOTRO if you're only gonna play trial :P

Level up a char to lvl10, then go make monstercharacters instead.

They "level up" or "rank up" by killing players. PvMP in LOTRO can be great fun. And you don't have to level up and **** around if you have no intention of playing the game further anyway.

Go make monsters, make a "Tribe" (guild), and have fun pvp. I had a rank6 reaver, 2 rank4 warleaders (first on snowbourn, later played on laurelin), rank 5 warg, rank4 spider, etc. The imbalance when I played was hilarious (burglars rule all), but was ever so sweet when we won (monsterplayers are the underdogs, lack of skills/spells/CC etc).

Just my 2 cents.

Update: So far Uthgard (Champion), Per (Guardian), Partasuti (Hunter), Truedevil (Rune-Keeper) are playing for now.

Still missing a few from a normal group: A Dwarven Minstrel and another Hunter or a Champion.

Captain+Minstrel for the last slots. Captain singletarget dps is ~almost as good as a champ (or at least it was). + they can off-tank, heal really well (now in MoM even more so i hear) and save fellowship wipes with LS+IHW. If they know how to play and gear they can do alot of crazy stuff ;)

I had a 50 captain as main (raided with him too), a 50 champ and a 50 hunter (the old main) back when I played. Used my champ mainly for farming (dwarf champ with a 2h axe, yo!) because their AOE is/was sick.

Meh, starting anew mmo again. Calling it new since its such a long time since i played. Not sure i wanna pay for this again.

I might get the 10day trial though. Just to have some fun for a week or so.
