So as we noticed and anticipated, the 22nd of January 09 did not stay as an official "launch" day Aventurine initially claimed. Instead the 22nd was converted to a limited mass beta date where alot of beta invites would be sent out to a limited number of people over time. The 25th of February 09 is now the new claimed launch date. No helpful information regarding the "open beta" is posted on theyr site (lets not forget that Aventurine seems to be a very anti publicity company) so no real details are public at the moment, I belive the open beta is simply sent out to the people who have signed up for DFO beta on theyr site.
