Ravenous Knights has a "selective recruitment" policy, meaning:
We only accept new members that fit our social circle, even tho RK is a gaming community, we place a high amount of attention on the social aspect of our community. We require our members to be equipped with good sound quality so they can listen to things said on TS (Teamspeak) (http://www.goteamspeak.com) and Ventrilo (http://www.ventrilo.com), ability to have a good communication via Teamspeak or Ventrilo in English is very much appreciated. Also, having friends in RK will be noted as a plus for the applicant.
Now and then, RK is making recruitment campaigns and it may seem that we try to mass recruit, in reality we dont. It is important for us, and the new member to have a good time while playing any game with us. So the persons who apply will still go thru an "evaluation" by our community.
Most of the members in RK are people between 20-40 years of age so we have a tendency to reject very young applicants, simply because these 2 agegroups tend to have very few common interests.
Also, new members will end up being on a "trial period", both for the new member and RK to basically become friends, during that period it is truly expected that the new member does give a try on Socialising with the rest of the RK. ;) Passive behavior will eventually make the new member unnoticed and when the day comes to end the period, everyone will think that the person is a "sleeper" or like.
There is no specific template for recruitment posts, write the post in any form you like, as long as it is informative.
