Warhammer Online 18th September

A handfull of us has decided to try out Warhammer Online, no "big plans" no "super tactics" nothing special, we are simply talking trying it out in its Retail form.

The choise of side is obviously Destruction ( here is the list of Races and Sides: http://www.war-europe.com/#/raceshp/?lang=en )

I myself have chosen Chaos Chosen as the character to play, the tips and tricks from reading suggest AOEing to be the most commonly used in RVR battles (Chaos Magus, Darkelf Sorceress, Chaos Zealot). Atleast one person i know will be on Orcland (he making a Squig Herder the Partasuti he is) what others plan on playing i dont know.

Once and If there is some server choices available, it will be posted here somewhere, if the game suits us to a cerain level, more people will be recruited from game.

Hey RK (Jheryn from AoC), ive been thinking of giving Warhammer a shot for some time. I'd like to get some feedback before I purchace this one though, just to make sure I dont end up with a Warcraft clone or, hate to say it, AoC launch bugs all over again. So prob wont be getting it on release but if all looks good then i'll come and join ya.

Make sure you post what server your on somewhere prominent, and good choice on Chaos >)

The game will have an "NDA lift" very soon, so the net will flood with the info about the game and beta footage...

I just have to lure some Darkelf geeks in for the Sorceress :P

I'll definitly give it a go. If it is just a lil bit like wow (ok gfx is discussable) it will deliver at least a few hours/weeks of fun.

Is the 18th the offical release date? Do i have to preorder somewhere?

If i understand the concept it looks likes we all have to choose
one army rite?

Chaos fight Empire
Dwarfs fight Greenskins
High Elves fight Dark Elves

And each combo of the above have their own Battlezone...

So if we dont choose the same army we wont be able to play together i guess. Thats at least how i understand this gametrailer...

So, as a Dwarf, you can travel to Empire area and play with Humans ... and so on ... and to be more detailed, at max level your basically allways mixed with different races fighting for the Capital City of either Destruction or Order.
