Lo all, I'll start off with an update from me.
Recently froze my AoC account, as I couldn't log in on non-raid days, simply because I was so bored I guess.. A good game with alot of potential, and Scions of Nordheim are a great bunch, but unfortunately my patience couldn't hold forever. I tried sticking with it, through early access till now, even defended the game and tried being positive about it. But enough is enough. Funcom isn't getting my money anymore unless they get their act together.
So, waiting for Jumpgate/Star Trek online/<insert next hyped MMO here> I got suckered into trying WoW (blame Wammar).
 What?! Yes. It's true.
It being all new to me I'm having a blast. Tons of stuff to see and do, and the casual world pvp suits me well. I'm on Kazzak(EU-PvP) and my character's name is Nom (undead priest, horde :p). I'm surprised the ganking isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I guess that's because with so many ppl having 70s, help is never far away.
Like Hillsbrad, good fun that zone. Some ganking of alts and twinks, people getting their 70s and then all hell is loose. As a lowbie it's a shame I can't always participate, but had my share of 1v1's with people of my level. Good fun.
Unfortunately not on the same server as the rest of RK... :( But I'll make an alliance char on Trollbane in due time, if RK are still there:)
WAR is on the horizon, but if it's just a WoW clone why not play the real thing? I guess I'll try it out tho. I'll admit that RvR with actual consequences on the game world sounds cool.

And now my update...
Currently also playing WoW (again), lvl'ing a mage for PvP on Alliance Trollbane (where most of my other chars are)..
Waiting for Jumpgate Evolution, or till something grabs my attention.
Will probly try Warhammer, but we'll see if it's any good..
Also playing Team Fortress 2 (when I feel like it), and continuing my TF2 map project.

Hehe, it's funny because I got back into WoW last week...
I do see real potential in AoC, but it never quite grabbed me like WoW. When I came back from my holiday to Paris, I dunno, 'the calling' happened. I mean, I've been playing it on and off for over 3 years. It's a hard habit to shake...
So at the moment, playing WoW, TF2, and dabbling in some of my other single player games. But I've got 3 more holidays coming up ove the net 3 months, so I'm doing research and stuff. Tokyo next. Gonna be awesome!
I'll give AoC a second chance once Funcom adds some more stuff. But I just hope that happens before Wrath of the Lich King...

Meh.
Playing some Tf2, but mainly Diablo2. I got hooked again now after the D3 announcement.
So now i have 2 bots running 24/7, 91 lsorch for some ekstra mf runs, 90ish hammerdin for ubers, necrosummon for some pvp, and making a smither for some other stuff.
You never get away from this game >_<

Hmmm, am I one of the few that is still playing AoC?
Guess that's partly down to the fact I'm finding myself with a lot less free time to play at the moment due to work commitments, and am still working Esaias up to the dreaded lvl80 boredom. At least when I log on I still have stuff to do and complete, even if it is the final stages of the gathering quests :)

Good to hear back from folks here, and that at least some of RK's AoC members are still around :D
Not so sure about WAR just yet, like Serikin I'm a little wary about new MMOs now. Hehe. But where RK goes I'll follow most likely. Still having fun in WoW too, levelling at a relaxed pace. Starting Uni tomorrow again, and will have to focus on that before gaming.

Currently on vacation since 1st of july and that's the main reason that i am so quiet :p
playing lotsa xbox360 and waiting for warhammer/jumpgate.
hope to play with you guys again anytime
My Update:
AoC only lasted 2-3 weeks for me. It was just way to boring for me.
Currently i am back to Lineage 2 leveling my 2nd Sub and enjoying the sieges, raids and pvp.
Also thought about reopening my wow account but i think i cant stand the 100 millionth TK, SC or MH run... And arena was never mine.
So i am looking forward to Warhammer at the moment. I'll be waiting tho until i hear some RK oppinions on it and see some "real" ingame screens. Not gonna waste 50 bucks for 3 weeks playing again. However, if its a lil bit like wow it will keep me busy for a few monthes.
Cya soon guys

Whaaaa? People still play L2?
Obviously and if your masochist enough you can level to 85 now.
One of these 80+ level will only take you 3-4 monthes of 24/7 grind.
Tbh L2 still has the best gfx out there - however the non existing content (besides raides, epics, pvp and sieges) makes it boring sometimes.
I cant explain it but L2 is addictive - at least for me.
Open Beta was 4+ years ago .... remember that times?

remember that times?
Remember? I STILL HAVE NIGHTMARES!
But yeah, L2 had its appeal. But the constant grind, the effect it had on me, still scares the living shit out of me.
I miss the times when most were around lvl 40 and the pvp was even levels. The cruma fights with the farmer army.... (JoJon PoPong anyone?)
And running around with Carl on Nightstrife pvping/pking all day long...
Endgame (PvP and Hero Olympiad) now is kinda unbalanced. They introduced lotsa new stuff - tho if you dont have lots of people to help - you still dun have a chance in L2.
Due to this system - L2 still has the strongest community i ever experienced. You dont easily leave your buddies behind and move on. If you look at wow and lots of other games - was a constant join and leave.
And ofc i have never seen so much drama. Be that a good or a bad thing /lol

I remember in shadowbane, we had no instances, just .. enemy's on track and either .. run or defend your land...
